Glass Optics

An exploration of interference patterns created by blown optic lenses. These lights exploit the transparency of glass to highlight the subtle textures and project the unique pattern onto a surface. Techniques such as optic molding, quenching and cracking the glass in water, and pinching and twisting the bulbs are used to create the varying textures
